Create a Survey and Graph like a Pro (Project Reflection)

For this project you were asked to design survey questions (5) to get an answer to questions about various topics: sport, pets, celebrities, family, etc…  After collecting your survey data we turned the information into an MS excel table and then into a graph that demonstrates good, objective graphing techniques. Please answer the following reflection questions about the process you went through during this project.

1.      What is something we did during this project that you think you will remember for the rest of your life? I will remember making an excel graph because now that I know how to do it it’s easy.

2.      What was the most challenging part of this project for you? What was the most successful? The most challenging part in this project was going back and forth to fill out the graph.

3.      What are two things you did during this project to help your classmates? I sent Martin the link to Survey Monkey and helped Chelsy submit her survey.

4.      What is something that was hard for you at the start of the project, but is easy now? Making a graph with the pie and bar graph.

5.      In what area do you feel you made your biggest improvements? I feel the biggest improvement in making the excel table.                                                        

6.      What in our class has made the biggest impact on your learning during this project? Why? The survey had a big impact on me because I always wanted to know how and why teachers make surveys for us to answer now I know how to do it and why they do it.

7.      What is something the teacher could have done to make this project better? The teacher could’ve gave more time for this project to be better.

8.      If you could turn back time and do this project again, what would you do differently? I would change how I put my graph because I don’t like the 3D version.
