Create
a Survey and Graph like a Pro (Project Reflection)
For
this project you were asked to design survey questions (5) to get an answer to
questions about various topics: sport, pets, celebrities, family, etc… After
collecting your survey data we turned the information into an MS excel table
and then into a graph that demonstrates good, objective graphing techniques.
Please answer the following reflection questions about the process you went
through during this project.
1. What is something we did during this project
that you think you will remember for the rest of your life?
Something we did during this project
that I think I will remember for the rest of my life is creating the tables,
graphs, and the survey on Microsoft Excel and surveymonkey.
2. What was the most challenging part of this
project for you? What was the most successful?
The most challenging part of this
project for me was putting the information (my survey results) into Microsoft
Excel because I had to be going back and forth and I got frustrated. The most
successful part of this project for me was gathering my data and putting all of
it into tables.
3. What are two things you did during this project
to help your classmates?
Two things I did during this project
to help my classmates was I answered all of the surveys that were sent to me
and I showed the people that were confused how to create tables and send the
surveys.
4. What is something that was hard for you at the
start of the project, but is easy now?
Something that was hard for me at
the start of the project but is easy now is creating a survey.
5. In what area do you feel you made your biggest
improvements?
The area in which I feel I made my
biggest improvements was creating charts.
6. What in our class has made the biggest impact
on your learning during this project? Why?
What has made the biggest impact on
my learning during this project in our class was sending the survey to my
classmates and answering their surveys because it was kind of new to me.
7. What is something the teacher could have done
to make this project better?
Something the teacher could have
done better to make this project better is given us a smaller amount of surveys
to answer.
8. If you could turn back time and do this project
again, what would you do differently?
If I could go back in time and do
this project again, what I would do differently is make my survey questions
more interesting.
